    2014 radio + Android 6.0 calling problems

Yeah I have the same problem too - firstly on my old Nexus 5 and now on my 6P (both on marshmallow). Heard 6.01 is out imminently so hopefully that will fix things but it is really really annoying!!

    likely new UK CX-5 owner

No problem. one other comparison against the civic worth mentioning is due to the lack of turbo (and increased bulk) in the cx5 diesel it accellerates noticeably slower than the civic (but again probably pointing out the obvious)

    likely new UK CX-5 owner

I went from an '09 Civic (2.2 CDTI) to a CX-5 2.2d sport 2wd last june and generally speaking I'm very very happy with the move. Initial problems were: oil level rise (now fixed as previously commented), tomtom live not working consistantly (now fixed) and USB port killing memory sticks (gave...

Surging during low speed driving - just after cold coolant light off

I had this occur yesterday morning - pretty cold morning (for the UK at least) and found it rather startling as the roads were damn icey! As you say only seems to occur at lowish speeds. I have my CX5 in for its first service soon so will mention it to my dealer.

    Engine Oil Rise

how was this resolved in the end? Mine has done about 8k miles and oil pressure light came on today (though oil level on the dip was nowhere near the x). I'm a little worried!!!

dropped oil fill cap / removal of under engine plastic tray

yeah. about 9k miles. had just returned home from 50mile trip and low oil pressure warning came on just as I was pulling into our street. oil level looked slihgtly low so put around 250ml of 5W30 in and left for 20 mins. started engine again (and drove up ramp) and warning message did not come...

dropped oil fill cap / removal of under engine plastic tray

low oil pressure warning came up (luckily just as i was getting home) so checked dip, saw it was a bit low and removed oil fill cap. unfortunately I dropped it somewhere under the engine and after 10 mins of seaching with a torch have come to the conclusion its sat somewhere on the plastic tray...

the stick still works fine on my pc and it did work fine in the car for a few weeks. might try reformatting it and putting the music back on but doesnt really make sense that it would just suddenly decide to stop working

Drove through fairly deep puddle at speed... mpg plummeting :/

Made a massive balls up on my way home from work today - travelling about 25 mph round a corner and boom - big puddle... probably around 6-7 inches. Water certainly didnt splash up over the bonnet however the subsequent 5 mile drive home my average mpg (which was reset 15 miles previously)...

    Live traffic updates?

since this all seems to have gone rather quiet is it safe to assume Mazda/tomtom/panasonic/vodafone have fixed the problem? Seems to be the case my end as my live services have now been working for the past week without issue. Same for everyone else based in the UK?

    Surf Racks and Surfboards

I've had an 8foot mini mal on my roof (sat naked on thule wingbar edge) and the lesson learnt was - pack boot first and board last! I was more concerned with the board hitting the aerial fin but there was around 1cm of clearance.
