i did use this tranny with a fews mods and i probe that this one is a durable unit i use this for every day to work and for fun after with 10 PSI Boost for every day And 14 PSI boost for ocasional race with 650 RWHP and i no found any problems with it, So i dont know were you find this info...

yes it comsume a small amount of oil It have a metering oil that's uses oil from the engine oil pan that's you have to check the engine every mounth if youre is new or after the long trip. (thumb)
