As long as it is certain that the differential is interchangeable I'd go pick it up maybe Thursday before 5. I'd have to find a ride and see if they'd meet there or go the full way. That would be awesome.
My cars at 126k. Do I need a whole transmission or can I just look/find a differential and have it put on? I've looked around and I've only found 1 transmission for $550. Not to mention $175 for labor.
Any ideas/help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is my 2000 Mazda Protege ES. Paid $1,800. Has 126,000 miles and is 5 speed.
As you can see the previous owner got a little action from the back. Lol. I'm hoping it isn't too much to fix either. It also has a check engine light for Lean Air/Fuel ratio bank 1.
