So here are my pics. Craptacular! Also the exhaust heat sheild supports and bolts all rusted through the heat shield is just flapping and rattleing away in some places. My dad's mazda 3 is also totally rusted through above both rear wheel wells. Rust buckets both of them.

Previous 3 cars were toyota and they all did the same thing. The oldest corolla was not quite as bad. I still have a matrix and it is the same type of thing about 40 miles then the needle starts moving, but a much smaller gas tank.

The handle on the sunroof shade has a hump on the top. When the sunroof is opened sliding back it uses the hump to move the shade back. Check if you handle has been pushed down or if your shade is sagging down or bowed.

From the looks of it a few people have been doing this. I am just wondering if there were any issues with the load rating of the RX8 rims.
