Just make sure that if you invest the money on the show aspect of your muffler, you're puttin people behind you to see it... Is a full CF muffler even feasible? Heat has a tendancy to warp composites, but I don't know how hot a muffler gets.

UCLAP, what you are thinking of is pre-preg CF. It is already laminated with the resin, and its properties are arguably better. The problem is, you still need to mold it, and it needs to be heated in an oven for a long time. So its not any easier or less expensive.
