im pretty sure i bought one of these brand new for 300 (still cracked and switched to steed), id say your best to go from there plus shipping.

you dont need and adapter for the t28 and t25, they're interchangable. the only thing that needs to be done is adjust eh wastegate actuator bracket. now, if your completely stock, i dont recommend the upgrade. at minimum i would say upgraded sidemount and mid pipe exhaust upgrade. thing spools...

also did you make sure clamps were tight? if air is being sucked in right after the maf that could cause pig rich? just throwing it out there.

theres a forge unit that is a dual valve which helps with stalling, its ok, you still run stupid rich in between shifts but will allow you to vent to atmosphere and get the whoosh sound. do you have stock pipes at the moment? the problem is the valve outlet is too small and does not allow...

ohh, kk, wasnt sure, as far turbos go, one i highly recommend is the gt28rs, spools up real quick, works with stock downpipe, does need a little work to install the wastegate actuator though

pretty sure the t2 steed and msp manifolds keep both turbos angled. stock downpipe matches up with the steedspeed and its a factory replacment.

the "turkey" is actually compressor surge and odds are it was doing it before you replaced your intake. you can actually just hear it now as it is not muffled through airboxes and what not. the problem is the size of the inlet outlet on the bpv, doesnt let enough air through, dual valve will...

i would also second the coil packs. does it sound like a lawnmower? flashing cel means do not drive haha. happend to me. ended up being the coils, when you get the plugs (if you change them aswell be sure to gap correctly aswell.)

that was happening to me (limp mode from misfire) replaced coil packs and wires, havent seen limp mode yet (been 2 months but still crossing my fingers haha)

hmm, if ur forging and trying for bigger power gains the t3/t4 im sure is a solid set up. nice to be externally gated lol. im running gt28rs and honestly the boost is like a light switch and every time i get on it i fear it will be the last time i do (not forged). price wise i think the t3/t4s...

Sorry, just tryin to clarify, u bought a protege lx, and it doesn't have a turbo? Was it supposed to? Or are u saying its a speed with an lx motor?

running stock turbo? i recently replaced my turbo with a disco potato because my internal wastegate was stuck open on the inside (wouldnt actually seat/seal properly) some days stock boost, other less. when i got the turbo back from the shop it seemed liek the arm moved away from the turbo if...

yea, i did see non oem coils available online and im sure through some of the part store, but i just figured the oem ones probably lasted this long, didnt want to have to worry about fitment or quality from some of the aftermarket parts. you think aftermarket coils are any different?
