As I said before, its a sound of motor attached to the EPS. When you turned of your engine, the electrical motor will shut off and lock the steering. It will produce some kind of buzzing sound and its normal.

I'm guessing its a software/system bug. Mine had a reset and update and everything back to normal. No similar issue happened so far.

What I mean is after the software update, the issue is solved.

I had the exactly same issue with my 6 mth old CX-5. They told me that it was due to some bug in the software. After they updated the software, all back to normal until today.

It was the sound from the EPS (Electric power steering) motor. Once you turn off your engine, the motor will lock the steering.
