2008 Mazda 5 Sport. 27000 miles.
Cylinder's head - how about that?
It started with temperature gauge going up and I headed to the dealership right away.
The first intention was to change the thermostat, but I did not want to rush them and left the car overnight.
Next morning I received a phone...
partially, the reason why microvan is not very popular in US - Mazda is doing very poor job in avdertisment of 5 and Rondo is KIA.
Once it will be Honda or Toyota presenting the same concept -- I believe the opinion will change.
P.S.
What do you think Mazda2 would have the same success compare...
My intention was to make the tires not only wider but higher as well.
The wheels 205/50/17, in my opinion, looked a little bit small on mazda5's minivan profile.
This is the first.
The second - I was going to improve the ride comfort, make it a little bit softer.
My initial impressions were...
Am I going to be the first one with 215/55/17?
I've done it couple of days ago.
The Discount tire listed this size as optional Plus Zero:

Plus Zero

215/55-17
The guy in the shop told me that...
I've done the same thing on my Mazda. I even have the same color of the car.
It was a third hitch I bought from eTrailer - I received it in 3 days with the cheapest shipment (MO to FL).
BTW I decided to go with hitch rack instead of roof rack after I drove into garage with the bike on the...
It might help - the Inno cross bar stands above the roof a little bit more than 3in. The attachments may take some space too.
Just check how high the sun roof goes above cross bar line.
Actually did not clock myself with Mazda yet, but on Odyssey it was much quicker to remove the entire rack then take off the attachments (two Thule velo vise ). The Inno rack does not look less convenient than Thule's.
However you are absolutely right - either way should not be time consuming.
Looks perfect. If I would go with the box I would go with something like this.
Are you driving with the box all the time or just for travel occasions?
How it affects the mileage?
Looks like it may take few minutes. It is possible to leave the bases in place - special covers are included. In this case you do not need to uninstall the whole construction, just remofe cross bars and stays.
I have Thule roof rack on my wife's Odyssey and it does not seems to be easier to...
Looks like you got a perfect deal. I just looked at me receipt - I paid Inno XR Stays - $116.99, Inno Cross Bars 46" $54.99, TR120 fit-hooks - 49.99 and s&h $21.98. (protest)
Yes. The attachment is very firm and secure. (the base made of hard rubber with metal plate inside. You have 3 screws on every foot - 1 to the roof and 2 to attach the foot to the base kit)
In details - you are buying two separate pieces - feet with cross bars and then separate fit kit...
No, you should not. People behind you should. :)
I believe Mazda claimed 100 lbs is OK. Not only 4 small bolts holds the rack on - the whole roof is for this. Small bolts just keep it from moving.
For my bulky system I calculated the total weight - 25lbs basket, 15lbs racks. One bike is about...
After looking all over the internet I got myself several pieces I was able to assemble together. Tried to drive and everything still in place.
Inno rack, 1 set of Yakima Boa on the RAGE basket, Thule fairing (removed from the other car and bought new one to replace).
Comments welcome.
