a supercharger has it peck power form 800 rpm it has no lag, but it will loser it max power at around 3500-4000 RPM depends on the sort of supercharger you get a low or a high range. but you will always get lag in turbos if you do it by the books. and a turbo is uesed for its top end speed not...
i dont see the point in speending 5-6 grand in a turbo just for it to reach 2-3 PSI and i can speend the same on the supercharger and have it at 10 PSI or higher.
and if you wanna get rid of turbo lag have a wet shot of NOS while the turbo is not working (naughty)
and let the fun time roll
i have thought about the turbo, but everyone does it, and anyway i would prefer the low down torque so you will be very explosive off start and out of corners.....
wat sort of turbo are you wanting to get , and are you going to drop the compression???
i head about the accident as well, didn't it happen out along the dungog mad mile, or some where out there.
well i hope your mighty mazda get better ;) and you !!!
i am the proud owner of a 323 protege, and and its time that it get a little more power.
so i though supercharge, because not meny people do that mod
and it is something diffrent.
