Thank you. I never did find the procedure for pulling the entire headliner, but if I don't have to remove the whole thing, it eases the pressure to get the broken stud out. Dave O'H

Just did this (I know, late to the party), and Step 9 should read: Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and close the driver's door. The ECU will respond a final time with a series (about 4) of door locks and unlocks. Other than that, worked perfectly first time. Many thanks, Dave O'H
