    Help me identify this part!

haha, no not invisible, sorry , I should have worded that better - "I thought that was odd too until I read pmpkinhead and BRIAN_MP5T's responses." I was just trying to add on to your point that the spare tire is not held down by the bolt in the pic.

    Protege High Mileage Club

Mine just passed 111k and runs with no issues - but I just listed it on Craigslist so I can buy a truck, so I wont see it go much further. FWIW - I don't have any mods on it either, only a boost guage has been added to it. <a...

    Help me identify this part!

There's two bolts in there. One is already holding your spare down and then there's this one... I thought it was odd too, I just found those two parts on Sunday when I was going through cleaning out the trunk.

    HOW-TO: WGA (wastegate actuator) replacement.

So I installed the ATP actuator and was curious about all this. I also had to extend the arm in order to get it over the pin and assuming that it's holding 'snug'. Installed my boost guage last night - seem to peak out 7-8 PSI and hold steady at 6 - I'm also bone stock. It's a bit odd...

    msp gauge mounting?

230+k miles!? WOW! Sweet... So I'm about to throw in a boost guage today on my a-pillar. Is there a good 'how to' other than the one already posted in the how to section, that one seems a bit confusing wiring wise. I'm thinking of grabbing illumination from my stereo rather than the dimmer...

    HOW-TO: WGA (wastegate actuator) replacement.

Just did mine this weekend as well. My neighbor's mechanic brought over a smoke machine that plugs into the vacuum lines to find the leak - and sure enough it was my wastegate actuator. My car was also having all the problems with rough idling, over-boosting and idle drops from high RPM. I...

Revs drop to zero when I go full throttle and push Clutch in

My car is doing this same thing and has been for a while and I've gone through all the hoses and can't find anything loose. I haven't put any mods on the car - but can't seem to figure out why it's doing this. The CEL will come on for a few days and go away again, a friend pulled codes a while...

    Complete MSP Turbo Kit

Mines got 96K and 100% stock still! But I'm searching around because my turbo is starting to leak oil and I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle it - without spending an arm and a leg. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm only going to keep the car for another year or two...

    Another Rotor question

I've been searching for a bit and couldn't really find any answer to this. VERY noob question - My MSP is a daily driver and I don't race it nearly ever. It's time to replace my pads and I'm pretty sure the rotors are still original. My brakes flutter at high speeds or down large hills...

Driver side mirror part and replacement question

Ok, so I'm washing my car today and I'm cleaning my driver side mirror and it just decided to SNAP off! I was barley touching, not sure why it happened, i guess it was just it's time... so my question is this: Based on the pictures below, can you tell me if I can replace just the black...
