Yeah... the outside looks great, and she's still a blast to drive. But the money just didnt make sense: -$500 for A/C fix -$1000 for new exhaust manifold -$500 for new rear bumper -$300 for new windshield (would have been the 5th in this car) -$750 for new shocks/struts, spark plugs, rear...

I got $3500 for my MSP in its rough shape. If I had fixed all the issues (close to $4000) I could have gotten maybe $6500 out of her. I have seen very low-mileage MSP's go on AutoTrader.com and Cars.com for close to $8000, but that is probably the upper limit.

The A3 S-line was mint, it was sold... had been on the lot for less than 3 days. The buyer actually picked it up while I was cleaning out my trunk.

So after almost 10 years and over 96K miles, it was time to trade in DANS MSP for a new set of wheels. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED that car. Besides the 1990 ford explorer I bought for $650 when I was 16, she was my only car. Problems starting piling up (cracked exhaust manifold, a/c died...
