    If I was to get some minis and install them, could they be removed to return the headlights to stock? Or do you have to drill a hole for the projector to sit in where the bulb would normally go? Curious about both the Protege5 and sedan style headlights :)

    It's a bit hard to be precise with the hole you drill on the back. I made mine using a hole saw about 5cm in diameter (2 inches). Then I used a dremel to make the hole bigger.     He's from Aus :) Here it's known as a Mazda 323, his is an Astina (hatchback) and the sedans are known as the protege here. Then we have the SP20 variant of each and a 1.8 of each which is like your ES? Oh and we never got AWD or turbo :(

    All up it's cost around $300 plus the cost of the headlights themselves, that's including all the main parts and the little things that add up like paint, screws, lens polish and I upgraded the bulbs to some Philips 85122 ones (the best). haha good thinking, thanks.
