    Show me your CX-5 wheels

Well the price of these reps are too good to go past. Second hand but $100/corner. Some roads around where we live can be bad but I'm always on the lookout for service trenches and potholes. I even notify the council of road damage and it's often repaired pretty quick. Not sure I could go 18s...

    Show me your CX-5 wheels

Great, thanks so much. Have found a set of HRE P40S (pretty sure they are reps) in machine face/gloss black. Should look great on our white CX-5. Will try post pics once fitted.

    Show me your CX-5 wheels

Hi All, Currently looking at a set of 20x8.5" +35 running 245/45/20 tyres. Any issues with this fitment to a 2014 2.5Ltr AWD, particularly the offset? Cheers, Muz

I actually had a set of these alloys but decided to sell them off due to their weight. I weighed them at 16kg each, without tyres fitted. Far too heavy in my eyes.

Anyone's Mazda 2 DE run rough with A/C on?

That's exactly what seems to happen, the rpm's seem to be sucked down by the A/C (when running) between gear changes.

Anyone's Mazda 2 DE run rough with A/C on?

Does anyone else's Mazda 2 run roughly with the A/C switched on? Mine idles roughly, jerky throttle and hesitates when changing gears with the A/C running. With the A/C switched off, it runs fine. Sometimes, idle can be a tad up and down with the A/C off but none of the other symptoms.

    CX-5 seat back "click" movement

Anyone have this issue? Mine is the driver's seat, clicks when braking, accelerating and cornering, basically any movement of the driver's body will cause it to move. Appears to be getting worse.

Beam Axle Pivot Bush replacement - DE

Thanks Flatlander937, The front shock top mounts have recently been replaced with SACHS items. They did alot to eliminate the noises up front. The only remaining suspension component to be replaced is the beam axel pivot bush. I recently jacked the front of the vehicle up to visually inspect...

Beam Axle Pivot Bush replacement - DE

Ok I have an update: Both rear shock upper mounts have been replaced and early feedback is that these have cured the noise. The only remaining noise is the coil slap/coil binding both front and rear. Am thinking some Tein rubber coil silencers should take car of this. Anyone have any experience...

Beam Axle Pivot Bush replacement - DE

Ok, thanks again. I will book the vehicle in for a second opinion and inspection on the rear. New rear top mounts have arrived so will install those prior to double check these aren't the issue and retorque the beam axel bush correctly. From memory, last time I had someone inspect the pivot...

Beam Axle Pivot Bush replacement - DE

Thanks flatlander937, Would you think it matters if the vehicle has travelled almost 10k klms with that pivot bush possibly preloaded? I know exactly what you mean by loosening the bushes when lowering and retightening to new ride height, actually I am surprised I didn't think to try this...

Beam Axle Pivot Bush replacement - DE

Thanks deadlydave, the noises Im currently experiencing is more of a loose sound over high frequency bumps (like braking bumps in the road surface, for example.) I will have a look at any signs of visible dirty build up through and see if I can clean it out this weekend. I have ordered some new...

Beam Axle Pivot Bush replacement - DE

Has anyone needed to replace this bush?? I'm trying to rid my 2 of suspension noises by replacing the bushes one at a time. The vehicle has travelled 142k Klms and is an early 2008 model. The suspension has been lowered using Pedders springs and shocks. Am thinking the noises have appeared...
