    I did the valve cover gasket after I seen the oil all over spark plugs. Oil no longer sits on top of the plug but if you pull out a plug it is covered from the oil in cylinder.     Yeah you're right the body is rusted all to s*** lol. The wife really likes the car, but I'm at the point where I gotta make the decision to paint the car and fix motor, or just drive it into the ground haha. Maybe best bet is to find another one in good shape and use this one for parts or reshell.

    Got 2 ball joints from Taiwan for $40 shipped on eBay. Old ones smashed out, new ones pressed in. Perfect fitment and good quality. Even has 20,000 mile or 1 year warranty lol. Screw replacing the whole control arm. Taiwan ball joints FTW!!

    You need to do more diagnostics. Do a compression test. Get a vacuum gauge to see if there is leaks etc.

    There's fuses and relays for a reason, I wouldn't think any of the body or engine ecus got damage. It's likely blew fuses or wrecked relays. Maybe melted wires but I can't see it. Take every fuse and relay out and test them. Relay testing procedures are in the service manual. Also that fuse...
