Yup, double layer of dynamat on all 4 doors. Inner sheet metal and outer sheet metal, all cabin floors, under back seats, trunk lid, 2 layers under spare, and KICKER Hideaway 8" powered sub. It's what this car should have been sold as.
I did my original out of vinyl chrome in April. I guess it caught on because it got copied by some place in China and used my car as the photo to sell this stuff. It would have cost me a tone to get it made in the US and they beat me by about 2 weeks. Whatever, I'm just glad that the trend...
My wheel guy suggested 245/35/20 originally, 245/30/20 would be ideal...I wanted a bit more rubber because I bent a wheel in December due to some bad roads in L.A. The taller sidewall meant closer to the fender in the rear. The front has plenty if room. I would have preferred coil overs but...
Funny you asked. It's been since September '13 since my last mod(exhaust) and after a year of enjoying the stock height, the lowering bug finally bit me! It all started last month when I tried to roll my own fender using an Eastwood fender finisher...now I know why they call it a fender...
Thank you, that is great to hear. Please let me know if I could be of any help.
RB exhaust is out. It's the same can as the one for the CX-5...the video on YouTube sound exactly the same. I've now put over 300 miles on it and it's hard to tell from the cabin that you have an exhaust. It is...
Latest mod today. Racing Beat axle back exhaust. Sound amazing!
That is the stock exhaust, I had a 4" double wall slash cut tips welded on...time for storage.
same here...had my GT 6 G-engine since March and I have 6,300 miles and no issues. I've heard of a recall on the IE loop in Australia because they were running hot and caused fires. I passed on a majority of tech packages for this reason...technology becomes obsolete in months, so I have NAV...
I honestly don't remember, I go to Superbrightleds.com and order all my LEDs from them. This keeps the color "white" temperature the same. I've been ordering from them for years now. The only different white is my trunk, that was set up was custom done by SWR Motorsports. It's a little more...
Inner clearance is perfect on both front and back. The rear should be fine at 40 ET, the tire at 245 is great until I have a full load or hit a bump during a tight turn or a large dip at high speed. It's tire rub...nothing major. It's mostly because the rear fender wells aren't an even...
How about a rear windshield spoiler for the 2014 Mazda 6...I just looked through your site and there are only LED fog light bulb replacements available for the 2014 6.
I put 20" on my 6 and I went with 245/40/20 tires with 20"x8.5" with 35mm offset and cannot lower it with this set up.
If I wanted to lower it with 20s, it would have been 235/30/20 tires with the same wheels. I went for the wheel well fill without lowering.
This was the info my wheel guy...
