At 5000 miles on my 2014 Touring, I have averaged 24.3 mpg - this is consistent between both the trip computer and my own records. Mostly town driving, with a weekly 100 mile highway jaunt thrown in.

The rear parking sensors on my new '14 Mazd 5 Touring do not seem to be working. It beeps when I put it in reverse, but then doesn't beep again, even as I back up to be practically touching another car. Calling the dealer tomorrow, but am I missing something about how these are supposed to work?

Put it on the roof and then fill. You can put loose items in the box, I guess, but it's easier to load/unload with things packed.

I brought home my 2014 Mazda 5 Touring today, and I couldn't be more thrilled. It's replacing a 2003 Kia Sedona. Thanks for having such a great forum, the info here helped influence my decision greatly. Paid $21,490 out the door. :D
