well that's why I thought maybe changing viscosity oil may help in that sense? I know it is a turbo car but to burn this much and for it to be that black after an oil change doesn't seem normal.

nope, shifts are 2500-3000rpm daily. You would think so with issues like this right? But no, ever since I've been trying to narrow down the issue and been checking oil its been granny driven for the most part.

So I've been doing a lot of research on oil and oil consumption on these msp's I got mine in November only real problem I've been having is oil disappearing. I've done a compression test, (read better than factory specs straight across) full tune up, checked for leaks, it doesn't blow smoke on...

yah the charcoal canister. alright cool figured it would make more sense to be that anyway. Its labeled as "catch can" under the hood.

still having some issues with this .. wondering if anyone knows if these cars come stock with an oil catch can? looks to be it on the passenger side of the firewall?

yeah I don't want to draw attention to myself but at the same time it is extremely quiet the way it is. magnanflow 2.5" cat back stock cats in and resonator intact still.

happens to almost everyone, lol. that's why I always lock it when I leave the car that way it won't try to arm itself. If you do however end up having the alarm armed just unlock it inside with the key out pressing the unlock on the fob, worked for me.

check to make sure you didnt blow a fuse or relay for the fan

should work, they look identical. There is a how to on here somewhere.

bump... still looking for outlook on the restrictor line as a possibility, anyone know anything about that? I was told these turbos factory have a built in oil feed restrictor. I bought the car with a replaced turbo if its not oem I figured it may have an aftermarket/wrong size restrictor .

get a fob for it?
