That's surprising to hear. I normally track a 95 M3 but when I didn't get parts in time for a track event last year, I took the MS3 instead. I was VERY pleased with how well it did. It didn't do as well the M3 on Ground Control of course, but it held its own very well in the advanced class @...
For what it's worth, I had 225/45 Kumho SPT on the stock wheels and had rubbing issues on the inner fender due to the increased height. You will most likely have issues with 235/45 but should be fine with 235/40.
Paid on the 1st and 15th? Military? If he's military and he quits paying you (or not enough), contact his first sergeant for quick results. Financial irresponsibility is highly untolerated.
I learned my lesson that towing is more than just a weight thing. You would think that towing a few hundred pounds would the same as putting a few people in your car but you must consider wind drag too. That plays more of a toll than you'd think. I was pulling an empty 6 x 12 enclosed trailer...
I hear ya. With the MS3, you actually have to twist your foot and actually use heel and toe. The pedal placement in my E36 M3 is perfect. A roll of the foot is all that is required (heel not needed).
Are you saying it will be lighter than the MS3 or just lighter than the MkIV version? The MkIV was a 3400-pound porker. Hopefully the new one with the turbo-4 would be lighter but I doubt it will be lighter than an MS3.
The first dealership I went to treated the cars like gold and would not allow test drives of the MS3. Ironically, we were standing next to the "take a test drive" sign as the sales drone was telling me this. Haha. I just pointed to the sign and walked away. The second dealership I went to...
Whoa there killer, didn't mean to offend "your business". Sorry, it just doesn't do it for me. I have always enjoyed VW's humorous commercials and really hope they don't go the lame approach of cars sliding across wet parking lots.
Yeah pointless. Cars sliding across wet pavement doesn't exactly give me a feeling of "ooh, I want that". Hopefully that's not the direction VW is going with their advertising.
