    KYB-Brilliant!!!

Yeah, but 30% off is still $600+!!! A little too much for the Maz-Bank at the moment.

    CorkSport Adjustables for Mazda 5??!!

In the course of my extensive shock-strut search for the Supreme Commander's -uh, I mean the wife's '10 Mazda 5 I came across CorkSports, one of the Main Sponsor's of Mazdas24/7. They list a set of 15 way adjustable shocks for the MazdaSpeed 3 and the regular Mazda 3 for $499. On a lark I called...

    KYB-Brilliant!!!

Installed the KYB Gas-a-Just's on the rear of the wife's '10, kind of a pain but not too bad. They replaced the 80 thou mile O.E. shocks which the forum advised me were worn out. I went for these because we travel loaded a lot and I wanted a heavy duty rear shock. Also 'cause the Koni's and...

Bilstein B4's vs. KYB; best for daily driver?

In the end I went with KYB Gr's in the front and Gas-adjust in the rear. The rebate and other financial considerations spoke loudly here. Thanks everybody for their time and feedback! But did I make the wrong choice? Watch this forum, faithful readers! MazDin for bump-damping fun!

    Sliding-door sports car!

Wow, I must have hit a nerve...! Thanks for all the feedback on what's becoming my favorite car (and it's a freakin' station-van for God's sake!). Too bad my wife gets to drive it everyday while I'm herding the B2500. But that's another thread on another website, no less. MazDin for that Sports...

    Sliding-door sports car!

Had a chance to take the 5 out to play a few nights ago (just going to the store, dear!) and hit some of my favorite back roads. I've owned the 5 for two years now and really haven't had a chance to test it's limits, at least without a kid or two sliding around in the back. New Cooper Zeon...

Anybody tried Sumitomo HTR Z III's yet?

Thanks, Maz-zins for your time/input. I ended up with a set of 215 Cooper Zeon RS3-A's. A GREAT deal from a low friend in a high place along with some fiscal reality from the Boss (thanks, dear) made up my mind (for me...). It helps that afterward I found out Cooper is having a $70 rebate this...

Bilstein B4's vs. KYB; best for daily driver?

Thanks everybody for their time. SacO2 and Silentnoise I'm aware of the front/rear balance issue, we run heavily loaded a lot and a little rear extra stiffness probably wouldn't hurt. 1st Gen RX-7 autocrosser (Ret) trust me I know rear stiffness! I will probably add the '12 rear springs anyway...

Bilstein B4's vs. KYB; best for daily driver?

My '10 -5 is past due for new shocks and struts (tires, too but that's another thread). This is my wife's daily driver and Koni's are a little out of budget (and I no longer autocross, alas!) so I am looking for OE replacement that will keep the excellent ride/handling balance. I'm not looking...

Anybody tried Sumitomo HTR Z III's yet?

Moma's '10 -5 needs new shoes, anybody have any experience with these Sumitomo's? I've had good results with this brand in the past and TireRack has them for $71 each so the price is good at least. But they have a low tread wear rating and the tread pattern looks like a howler to me. Taxes will...
