ok i have a z5 which used to have spark but now it doesn't i was trying to wire a external coil pack and blew some fuses but now there is no spark at all and replaced fuses. the disty and crank sensor resistance tested good.

I have 97 protege with miss on cyl 2 changed plugs twice now and switched injector on cyl 1 with cyl 2 but the fuel pump thing if its faulty that can cause cyl 2 to miss?

i advanced timing cause it was retarded and so we see what happens in morning if it fires up then need new belt and pump if not then something else wrong
