    I can't thank you enuff Wuff. Sad but true, Mazda could of easily said "hey lets try this air straightener!" Instead they say "hey its your MS CAI throwing the code...go back to the stock box for 350 bones ....or hey it's the o2 sensor or the purge valve...hey we can pretend to fix it for 600...

    picked up the air straightener. it's amazing....no more lean out condition or CEL for now. Just disappointed that the dealership or Mazda didn't provide a solution. Thanks to this forum I saved more than 600 bones for a 7 dollar piece of plastic. Funny thing is it cost 10 bones to ship it.

    I have a twm short shifter, MS3CAI, forge motorsports recirc valve and a prosport electric boost gauge. It's a 07 with about 39,250k. And honestly, I heard of an air straightener. However, completely clueless of what it is or its purpose.

    I'm having the same problem with codes 2177/2187. Inital dealership said it was the MS3CAI was causing it. They told me to go back to the stock box for 325.00. Really? Got a second opinion from another dealership, this time a mazdaspeed shop. They dianosed it with the purge valve soloniod...
