i paid $40 a wheel for powdercoating on my old car, included acid dipping to get the factory silver paint off, sanding down the curb rash, and powdercoating. they came out awesome. I dropped a 3" stainless steel borla catback onto one of the wheels on accident and it didn't even chip.

My dad has a saab 9-3 viggen that i drove on occasion. a little over 250hp and loads of torque. no lsd, and when i punched that car in 2nd i almost hit a guard rail. The speed3 definitely impresses the s*** out of me when it comes to torque steer.

yea i'm a big chevy guy... always have been always will be. I start working for mercedes in february so if money's right i might skip the camaro and go straight for a c6. so sexy (rockon) who knows how long these orders are going to take... i should have everything i need by next weekend, but...

well i don't really wanna get rid of the head unit... its the bose 6 disc and its got all that s*** integrated into it... plus this car is just holding me off until the 2nd model year of the new camaro

i ended up going with a diamond audio d6, a step down from the d9 but whatever it should still thump nicely. for those of you who have a subwoofer(s) and a stock HU, how does it sound? Pointless for me to ask now that everything is being shipped to me .... but oh well lol

just thought of something... couldn't i also run a headphone to dual rca's out of my ipod to the amp, and have the LOC on a switch so that is only being used if i want to use the cd player? that way i can turn the equalizer effect off on the ipod, and use the amp to control the amount of bass...

that sounds awesome... the sub i was trying to order (diamond audio tdx 10) has been discontinued and the site i bought it from also stopped carrying the d9(new upgrade to the tdx) so now i'm waiting for them to refund my card so i can go hunt elsewhere. I'm looking forward to doing this...

I've installed plenty of systems, but never with a factory head unit... so i'm a bit confused. I ordered an amp, sub, LOC, and the other things i will need. The part i dont understand is how exactly to hook the LOC up. The guy i talked to at a local shop said you wire it parallel into the two...
