That map looks impressive until you zoom in. :) Even if 100% gas cost same as 90%, I wouldn't spend the time to drive in order to save that little money.

Ethanol doesn't have as much energy content as gasoline. A gallon of ethanol just can't get you as far as a gallon of gasoline. Takes more gallons of ethanol to go the same miles. So if you dilute gasoline with ethanol, you get worse MPG. It's too bad ethanol free gasoline is practically...

CX-5 is a great vehicle in a great package. My wife has over 5000 miles in under 2 months. It's much quieter than the Mazda 3 and gets the same MPG and has +30 horsepower at the same time and you can take it to IKEA, no problems = awesome

You have to consider that the CX-5 invoice is heavily inflated....to make the MSRP look like a better deal. If you follow the CX-5 pricing thread, the GT w/ tech goes for ~$28K. I already gave you a lead on a much better deal in Central TX. I personally don't think any warranty is worth paying an extra $1500 on your car. The powertrain warranty is already 5 YR/ 60000 Mi....so the "extension" is not really that extended. When/if cars go bad, you normally don't have to...

A +$1000 package on BMW's just for the lights alone. The CX-5 GT w/ tech is one of the most valued packed automotive offerings out there.
