if your boost pressure is messured from the manifold(which it should be) 5psi=5psi. It is the same amount of air. The 28rs just makes it easier than the stocker. It is larger and can move more amounts of air, but if you have it set at 5 psi, it is going to pressurize 5 psi.

someone probably has a stocker for sale pretty cheap. that is your best bet.
