    2013 hood emblem

Are you talking about the chrome one? It is held on with 5 clips that can be released from behind the nose panel. There are some tutorials about it.

programmer for the 2011 mazda 3 isport?

Turbo would cost a lot. Probably figure at least $3000 if you can source the parts yourself and do all the work. Likely, it will be close to $5000 when it's done and running right. For that money, you can just get a Speed3.

With your mods so far, you are good to go. Definitely look at a motor mount, and get upgraded tires as soon as you can, even if they are on your stock wheels. Tires and seat time are by far the best two things you can do. The only mod that I question is the skid plate; I don't think it's...

programmer for the 2011 mazda 3 isport?

You're not looking in the wrong place. There isn't much out there for the Mazda 3, especially in the engine computer area. I think the only company that does any of that is Dynotronics, but I don't know if they have done the 2010+ cars yet. Not a lot of motorsports interest in those cars...

Thinking about another 2... Or maybe a 3.

I'll try to help. I have a 2012 3 sedan, and I've spent a decent amount of time in a 2 as well. Since you said you don't routinely need the backseat space, I would say to go with the 2. If the situation came up that you needed more luggage capacity, you could use the backseat for that. For me...

    Source for Fortune Auto coilovers?

I am looking at coilover options, and Fortune Auto is one of them. Anyone know where the best/cheapest source is? Thanks, Mike

    Recommend spring setup

I've had a rough couple of days at work, but I have some time off now. So here's that pic I promised. It's pretty bad quality for some reason, but I think it's good enough that you can see. Measuring to the edge of the wheelwell arch isn't very reliable, so I use the bottom of the pinch...

    Recommend spring setup

I would love to go the route of Konis/GC sleeves, but GC doesn't make sleeves for the Mazda 3. If they did, that would probably be my top choice. I need to contact Shaikh at Fat Cat to see what he can do for me, I guess. My main hesitation with lowering springs (as opposed to coilovers) is that...

    Recommend spring setup

Dang, I forgot about this thread. I will get a picture of my car on the RB springs posted. k, I have considered several spring options like the Pro-Kit, but they all tend to be so soft. In my experience, with a good quality damper, 400-500 pound springs would not be uncomfortable. I just want...

How to disable DSC and traction control?

Pushing the TC button once will disable traction control; pushing and holding it for 5+ seconds will disable stability control. You can verify it was successful by trying to turn it back on; if you have correctly turned it off, you will not be able to get the dash light to come off until...

    New STF SCCA Class Thread

According to the latest GRM magazine, their project Fiesta benefitted from Andy's advice to pull the stability control fuse. No mention of the ABS fuse. This is the main reason that I was wondering what had given the best results. Maybe Andy can chime in?

How to disable DSC and traction control?

Okay, so I figured out how to disable DSC, but the system still kicks on to limit throttle application after doing any maneuvers that lighten the rear wheels through a corner. If I take a corner quickly and lift a rear tire, or if I try tapping the brakes while entering a corner to get a little...

Anybody done anymore experimenting with pulling the ABS/DSC fuse in the car? I'm curious about results. I may try messing with it myself also.

    Recommend spring setup

I know lots of people use the Road Magnets and are happy with them. I have them on my list of possibilities, but they are a progressive rate spring, and I'd rather have a linear spring for performance purposes. I am trying to find out their spring rates to see if they are even worth considering...
