How reliable has your CX-9 been?

We just turned 90K on our 2007 GT AWD. We purchased it new in May 2007. Other than replacing the A/C relays, and doing regular maintenance, it has been worry free. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

Blower turning on after turning the vehicle off

Thanks for the responses. The blower suddenly stopped coming on after the vehicle was turned off. It only did it for 3 days. Just for peace of mind, I ordered a couple of the relays just in case it happens again. Again, thanks for the help.

Blower turning on after turning the vehicle off

Yesterday morning, our 2007 CX9 started doing something funny. When I turn off the car, the blower suddenly cuts on for 60 seconds. It does not matter if I am running the air when I shut off the car or not, it still cuts on. Has anyone else experienced this? What do you think the problem is?

    What's your mileage?

Purchased our AWD GT in April of 2007. It now has 28,000 trouble free miles, and my wife averages 17-18 mpg combined driving. When we take in on trips, we routinely get 22 mpg on the HWY. Very happy with our purchase.

    Hands Free Bluetooth stopped working

:) Thanks for the reply. No, there is no other bluetooth signals around. I have tried to fix it in different locations, still nothing. I guess I will have to take it to the dealer next week to get fixed. I am not too happy about that. Unscheduled trips to the dealer really annoy me. I am...

    Hands Free Bluetooth stopped working

We have a 2007 CX-9 that we purchased in April. Since day one, both my mobile phone and her mobile phone have worked with the hand's free bluetooth wireless in the vehicle. Yesterday, the CX-9 stopped recognizing any bluetooth phones. I have tried everything on the phones, and pairing them...

    Bug shield

We have the bug deflector on our CX-9 and love it. I was really easy to install, and not too expensive. We just took our vehicle on a 1300 mile round trip two weekends ago, and it did a pretty good job with the bugs. Here is a picture:

    Oil Change

Today's engines are built with very fine tolerances, and are not the engines of yesteryear that required a serious break in period and the discovery of fine metal shavings on the first oil change. That, combined with the advancement in oils and oil filters over the last 30 years, makes the 3K...

Yes, it is the one that goes on the front of the hood. The holes that you use are already there, but they are 3mm. You have to drill them out to 6mm to allow enough room for the new Push ins and a Nylon Fasteners. There are 4 that go on the front. I will post a couple of pictures next week.

    After market cross-bars & pics

Just a small update. I got my original cross bars last week, but one of them arrived damaged. I called the dealer that I ordered them from, and they sent me a replacement. I just got done install both the factory cross bars, and the factory bug deflector. They both look great. The cross...

Arcadia vs. Veracruz vs. CX-9 crossover comparison

The Lambdas might be nice vehicles, but so far, in every head to head comparison I have read between that platform and the CX-9, the CX-9 has come out on top. That is not being bias, just stating the current facts. We all (well, most of us....cue xxxxxxx) love our CX-9s, and our opinions...
