How common IS this? My 2018 Mazda3 just now one morning magically had spider web looking cracks coming up from the lower left. The touch screen still works... just bottom left quarter is unreadable. :(

Year ago, I bought OEM rails for our 2012 CX9 and they were stupid simple to install. Then, lots of cheap options for crossbars.

I've been thinking of doing this for my 2012 CX-9, base model. I do have the backup camera that goes to the rearview mirror (it's so tiny of an image that it's useless). I would love to get a head unit that enabled CarPlay and allowed the backup camera feed to go to the headunit as well.

I'm interested in this as well. My 2012 CX9 has the backup camera fed to the rear view mirror. I'd like to buy a modern touch screen head unit, so that the backup camera will show on it. I basically never could see the little screen on the mirror.

How is it you have no help in a Mazda/CX9/Infotainment forum? I also am interested in doing this.

Youri, omg, that worked. Thank you thank you thank you. Over the years I tried unbuckling it with that slot, using the metel end of the buckle, figuring if that was a release, then that's how it would work. But inserting a key popped it off immediately. Thanks.

Am I a moron? Blind? I can not figure out how to unbuckle the center seat belt in the middle row of my 2012 CX-9. It doesn't have a button. It's the belt that is attached to the ceiling behind and stretches over.

Hello, My driver side mirror got busted off. It's a midnight blue 2012 CX-9 Sport. It does not have blind spot detection, so no internal computer for that. Is there an aftermarket mirror that has blind spot detection I could replace with? Thanks, Joe
