nah, nothing special. A good speaker wire would work just fine. You just need to make sure all connections are good.

Another option is to use carpet padding. It sounds kinda redneckish, but it really works. It's also alot lighter than dynamat and cheaper too. I had a '86 s-10 blazer. I filled the tailgate with some, it stopped all vibration and made the bass alot crisper and cleaner.
