    They are, it depends on the compound that's in it. Some are cheap some are good. Just like anything else. But then it depends what you need them for.

    I'm having this issue right now ever since I had my 4 discs and 4 ceramic pads changed. After a few times of taking it appart, cleaning it and lubricating it again and again... I had the 2 front discs and pads changed again (for free)... and it started doing it again. The garage is...

    Wow... :S The guy took my brakes appart so often at this point (at least 10 times since this spring) I'm sure he would've noticed a problem like a lose caliper. I even had to change the lugs 'cause most of them were striped. :P I was running on 4 nuts a rim instead of 5. Good thing out of it...
