Another thought - I found a 2006 Mazda3 sedan with some minor dents and scratch for 5000. However I found some Pro5s in San Antonio for about 4500-4700 with no dent and perhaps some scratches. Do you guys think it's worth going for the Mazda3? Does the 2006 Mazda3 model have that dent problem...

Ah, I saw those, unfortunately, I don't know how to drive manual and get distracted easily. But I did find one for 3500 in Dallas with a few minor dents. Also some in Houston for about 5000. I'll keep looking around, if not, there's a nice looking Protege ES close to me. Thanks everyone, Jennifer

Thanks for letting me know, actually, not only am I looking in Houston, but also, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Waco, and College Station. Can anyone tell me about these other areas? I know it snows sometimes in Dallas, but do they salt the roads?
