To all my fellow p5'rs ,Have you had to replace your front and or rear pads and rotors and if so did you go through the stealership or did you get it done elswhere?? Getting your brakes done elsewhere/doing them yourselves doesn't void the warranty or does it...............(uhm) .My dealer says...

I am seeing the dealer this afternoon ,this would be the 3rd time they would paint it if they actually agree to try again.

Probably a stupid question,but I will ask anyway. The wiper arm that holds the blade ,is starting to lose it's paint,is this under warranty??

For those of you who have taken the bumper off of your Protege5,are there any conceivable places to solidly mount fog/driving lights without attaching them to the bumper itself? .I was thinking behind the lower grill,Can it be done without too many modifications??Any input would be appreciated.

Well it is now December and they finally got around to fixing my car,they replaced the bumper and a foglight (which was already cracked from before.shhhh!!).This was last week ,it took them 9hrs(bullpoo!)to fix.Anyway nice job or so I thought, a couple of days later when the snow melted around...

I'm guessing that the Navigation system is unavailable in Canada along with the HID"s.:'(

I did a search but could not find the answer,is the cd changer a component that fits "into"the single cd body or if I wan't one do I have to buy a complete new radio/changer and toss mine ?? I am talking about,in case it isn't clear,the Mazda factory changer.

That sounds like an idea,but I hope it won't be too unstable.I don't wan't the lights to "shake" when I drive over rough patches of road.

I have been wanting to add a new set of Foglights(most likely yellow)behind the the lower grill of my 2002 P5.I just would like to know from those who are more mechanically(intimate you could even say)adept with the P5,to know if I can even attach them on safely and securely.I really didn't poke...

Anybody here from the 514/450 get a Compustar starter/alarm installed on there Protege5/MSP ?? .And if so, who can you recommend to purchase/install from ??? Thx(bluep5)
