    Am I the only one?

Wow... that was a long read/skim. Since everyones asking: I think that the RX-8 is a refreshing design, one of the latest shapes and profiles that are sublimely beautiful, with curves and edges, that with a little time and intimacy provide a great deal of pleasure to ogle. The worst part of...

Took my P5 to the dealership today...

Sorry, but I have to... I can feel for you all regarding dealer service and warranty issues. They are all very accomodating when it is NOT under warranty and you are paying for the work. As for Honda's, I purchased a 2002 Civic SiR (Canadian Si), the 2 door uber hatch, and had nothing but...

    Winters - first purchase.

I would set the tire pressure at 28 - 32 psi, that's what I do, and have hade a great deal of luck and winter enjoyment...

    Winters - first purchase.

I had my Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW3 installed just prior to the first snowfall... this is the sets second season and they are wearing well and gripping very well also. The size I am using is the 195/60HR-15, which gives me a slightly taller sidewall and perhaps more compliance overall in the...

    Synthetic Oil

Probably going to get some heat for this but... I have tried Mobil1 in my P5 (at a cost of $28 CAD + tax), and did not feel there was a difference, and after having used Castrol GTX in every vehicle I have owned with good results, I decided to try the Castrol Syntec Blend... it seems to work...

If you have bought Winter Rims...

Bought the rims through Wal-Mart for about $200 CAD, and the tires from the local Good year retailer. The rims work well, steel and black, while the tires are great... seriously good winter tires.

Would these beautiful wheels fit my P5?

Thanks for the link, I will have to get a couple. The MP3 had one on the rear only? I didn't think it had it on the side... but it looks good that way, and I might put it on both side and the rear, or just the rear, haven't decided yet.

Would these beautiful wheels fit my P5?

Nice looking... BTW where did you get the decals that read "MP5"? Would love to know...

Espelir Springs, Anyone have these? Opinions?

Where did you get that price? I would like to look into those... Thanks.

    Brakes

KVR makes good performance brakes, have worked exceptionally well on my previous cars, and will be purchasing later for my MP5 when the brakes need to be done. Rotors: MA850 - fronts MA851 - rear Pads: M7772 - fronts M7771 - rear Website: kvrperformance.com

    Would these fit?

The differences between the 195/50-16 and the 205/50-16 are not worth worrying about. But if everyone must know it represents an approximate 1.7% slower reading on the speedometer... when it reads 60mph, you are actually travelling 61mph. The sidewall height also increases by 0.2 inches...
  12. I

    Would these fit?

I would go with the 205/50-16... more or less the same overall diameter of my winter tires that are 195/60-15, which is basically the same diameter as the stock MP3 tires. My winter rims and tires fill the wheel wells better than the stock tires do, and the 205/50-16's will do the same. I...

    How many

When we first looked at the Protege5 when they were first released, the dealer told us that the yellow would be a limited addition... when we went to purchase our car (in red), the dealers in our area had seemingly more yellow cars than any other! I see more yellow and silver P5's than any...

If you have bought Winter Rims...

15" steel rims (new aftermarket), with Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW3's, size 196/60HR-15... Ultimate winter sport rims! Love them...
