Thanks for all the info guys. I just installed new speakers in the front of my MP5 and it was a breeze thanks to this thread.

Yeah, that's what makes me nervous about installing the amp/wiring to the speakers. I'm going to go and get my amp/subs/wiring done hopefully today and then when my speakers/deck arrive I can just plug those in and I'm good to go.

Actually now that I've thought more about it, I will follow your advice. For $100 less I can get one pair of the Polk Audio 5x7s and the Alpine CDE deck (no sat radio but Ipod and built in 16watt 4 channel amp). People in the back seat can just scoot up.
