What year Supra were you driving an 80's? I couldn't imagine going from that to a Mazda6, doesn't seem there is much comparison :(

How do you know if you are running too lean or rich. Do you have any lambda readings to reflect this?

As long as you have your recirc dump back into your system after the maf so you arent' registering the air twice you should be ok.

You need to find someone with a leak tamer or possibly make your own if you have access to an air compressor. Blowing into the hoses isn't going to show you anything since you need to pressurize your system to 7psi or more.
