same problem here, noticed it on my silver CX-9, dealer autobody shop said they see a lot of this, plastic metal trim apparently rubs the 4 corners when it contracts and expands, painted under warranty. Everyone should check for this, especially if you have a darker coloured car

They replaced the rear differential and now the noise is gone. Sad to see that after 40,000kms that it needed replacement, hope it's a one off. Guy at the service counter tried to tell me that it was from uneven tire wear on an AWD that may cause this problem. Whatever, I asked him why there...

Word today is that they found some metal shavings in the rear differential. Waiting for parts. I will await official word but that is where they are now thinking the issue is.

Nope, not the brakes, drove away after having them replaced and noise was still there. Car left with dealer...surely to god they"ll figure it out...eventually

I have a 2008 CX9 GT, I noticed on 2 occasions that there was a "scraping" type noise when I turned at a low speed, once when I turned left and once when I turned right (at different times). Nothing rubbing in the wheel wells, noise seems to come from the underside...any ideas? thanks

Getting ready to replace my Front Rotors and Pads on my CX9 2008 GT . When the dealer gave me the quote he included the price of a "Pad Attach Set" , anyone have any idea what this may be? The dealer said it may be necessary. thanks
