while replacing my gas tank i found that the fuel vapor seperator is rotted completely ... all 3 lines to it fell off in my hand and it has big gaping holes in the main tube ... is it possible to bypass this without harmull issues ? 2 lines run to the tank 1 of which i assume is a vent the...

well i cant answer you about the compatablility of the 1.8-5spd vers 1.5-5spd i can tell you you are in for a lot of work . i would recommend a complete donor car rather tna have to source out all the bits and pieces you will need to make the swap. pedal assy , linkage, shifters , misc bolts...
