Actually according to the calculator, the change from 215/45 18 to 225/45 18 only causes a 1.4% speedo difference, not 2.8. I've got 225/45 18s on my stock wheels.

I'll disagree with the above poster and say that it is, in fact, the tires. The OEM Bridgestones are garbage. I had them on my RX-8, and of course on my MS3. I switched to high-performance all seasons (bridgestone 960 pole positions) and they do much better on wet roads. There's really no reason...

I actually think the seats are quite comfy and supportive. I had leather in my RX-8 and I specifically didn't get it in my MS3 because it's more trouble than it's worth. As for the moonroof, I hear-tell it was nixed for structural rigidity reasons. I do miss having one, but I also like my cars...

I asked my dealer to remove the "mazdaspeed 3" from my MS3 before I picked it up, so maybe next time you're in for service you could just ask your mechanic or a detailer to do it for you.
