Ok, I know P235/65r18 will fit the rims... However, there is a warning from the tire shops that this size will rub. Has anyone actually used a different tire on the stock rims for the CX-7 SV?

I tried all local shops as well as online. Mazda had the tires and rims made special for this car, hoping the size would be used by other manufacturers, Mazda abandoned this car and the tire/rim were discontinued. Because the rim is 7.5 and not 7 or 8 inches (which are the normal sizes) going...

Sorry I wasn't clear earlier... My car is the CX-7 SV which has a different wheel size than the Touring Model. My tire size is P215/70R17. Only the "Low End" models of the CX=7 use this tire, and the Bridgestore Dueller or Blizzak (winter tire) are made specifically for this rim. Bridgestone...

Ok, this car has a rim and tire size for this car only 18"x7.5" with crappy Bridgestone Duellers that last 20k miles if you are lucky. No tire shop carries this tire in stock (cause it hasn't been made in 4 years), but can order them from some warehouse... Has anyone put a different tire on...
