There is no code 30. your 93 is OBD-I. there IS a code 30 in the 96+ mx6's which are OBD-II, but yours would not be throwing such a code. Since it is intermittent, and the car loses pwoer when the light comes on, i would have to take a few stabs in the dark at either one of the o2 sensors...

Maybe this can help a little - I too like having extra oil in the system.. and if you can use the KL series filter (2.5L v6 from the mx6, etc) then you can ALSO (provided you have space) use the 91-92 corvette ZR-1 filter, which is MONSTER compared to even the mx6 oem oil fitler, and retains...
