I've been looking into the carputer thing quite a bit recently as well (mp3car.com of course) and IIRC there's a couple other DC-DC PS out there with the same functionality of the Opus, but a bit cheaper. One is the carnetix, and forget the other - altho i don't believe they'll run up to 150W...
