Derail but Mazdaspeed EMS! Mazda needs to make a Fuso-style cab that we could mount to modular bodies. A Mazdaspeed ambulance would pretty much complete my life...

Someone on the forums cut an Injen down... I've been thinking about this lately but I'm sketched out to screw with the MAF sensor and I HATE CELs. Not exactly a derail, but can anyone tell me if using a Speed3 SRI with the Speed6 bracket sets off CELs?

CAI is worth it, and I've heard if anything it raises mileage (though this could be completely wrong) and won't void the warranty unless you hydrolock it, then you're SOL. BOV is pretty much just for looks (sound) unless you're pushing more then stock boost... 19k sounds like a pretty good...

How hard was it to remove the piece of the grill where the emblem sits? Thinking about removing it entirely and putting up a mesh grill... Is it just a matter of taking out the clips? Does it look decently flush with the clips out?

Yeah, but from where? I mean, I'd get a SRI just for a little added feeling of safety, but where? I've only seen the Cobb which isn't even out yet AFIAK? I remember some vague references to a Speed3 SRI ghettofitted to a Speed6 but it didn't sound very awesome.

This pretty much comforts me. That, and I recalled how many people I know in town with daily drivers with CAIs. I think I was overestimating how easy it is to hydrolock a car.

Completely stock, 7k miles on it. Can't wait to mod it! I'm pretty sure tourists think I'm an undercover cop. ;)

So as far as hydrolocking goes, is there any SAFE intake? I mean, I live up in the North East and we can get a ridiculous amount of rain. I don't want to have to live in fear of every puddle I come across.
