The slides are seizing, despite being serviced in the fall and spring. The caliper is also corroding around the piston. My buddy, he's a heavy diesel truck mechanic feels the caliper should have more pistons to help prevent the jamming.

Where should I take this discussion? The general forum? Aftermarket calipers get too big for my winter rims. However, they are due to be replaced in a year or 2, so could size up.

Fortunately I was able to salvage the rotor, it wasn't warped, just had to get it turned. This is still an issue as it took a day for the caliper to come in. It was the slides as well as corrosion(or general crud) around the piston seal.
