    Test Drive Cost Me $125

According to the Universal Currency Converter, my last speeding ticket cost me about $250.00 US ($345.00 CDN). That was for going 110km/h in a 60km/h zone (like doing 70mph in a 35mph zone). Of course I WAS in a 90km/h zone a few seconds earlier... oh well, that was a couple of years ago, so I'm...

    premium gas

Chevron has 92 and 94 I believe (at least in Vancouver, don't see why it would be any different in Calgary).

    This is sad

Being rare is not enough in and of itself. It's still a matter of supply and demand. There aren't many Ford Pintos around, but they still aren't worth anything because nobody wants one! Ok, I know the MSP shouldn't be compared to a Pinto, but they aren't exactly flying off the shelves now. I...

Ok people... a few words about the mazdaspeed.

Well said and informative DistantTea. You summed up nicely talking about looking at the overall package - that's exactly why I bought my MSP, I felt it was the best balance of things that I wanted in a car. I think your driving tips may be handy as I've never driven a turbo before this one and...

Any MSP's in OR or WA?

Damn, if it was Seattle I'd be there, but Portland is about a 5 hour drive for me. Oh well. :(

    Wow Our Msps Are Fast...

If you smoked an SS then he wasn't trying (or he's an absolutely bad driver and shouldn't be behind the wheel of a sports car). I used to drive a 1996 Z28 prior to getting my MSP and it was a lot faster. Drivers being equal, a Z28 or SS would blow the MSP away. However if speed were at the...

    Canadian Questions

Regarding the colour: Now that I'm used to the orange I really like it, especially in bright sunlight (not that we've had much of that in Vancouver this April!). Oh and I park my car in downtown vancouver everyday and no one has vandalized it so far. It has also been parked outside bars a couple...

    Where's the sunroof/moonroof?

I agree, sunroof and cruise control would be nice. I mentioned to my dealer that I thought the sunroof should have been an option but he pointed out that since the car was made in very limited numbers, Mazda couldn't (or didn't want to) build any variations to try and accommodate different...

HELP !!! Stereo is Toast !!!

My sub worked fine after I reset my stereo, I didn't change anything. I had never disconnected my battery, so maybe that makes a difference, but I doubt it since I had to reset everything else (time, pre-sets etc.)

HELP !!! Stereo is Toast !!!

Re: I feel like an IDIOT !!! No problem. And don't feel dumb, I didn't figure it out either - a friend of mine who knows a lot about car stereos told me to do that :)

HELP !!! Stereo is Toast !!!

My stereo died like that, so I pressed the reset button. It has worked fine ever since. The button is very small and on the faceplate, (use a toothpick or something to press it). It's along the bottom to the left of most of the other buttons. Check your manual if you can't find it.

    Good/Bad Dealerships experence

Yeah, didn't get a good vibe from Signature. Although I know someone who bought a P5 there and she was quite happy.

    Good/Bad Dealerships experence

Leased mine through Langley Mazda (near Vancouver) and had no problems. I went through a different leasing contact that I have and he set me up with them. I was able to get a bit of a discount compared to what I was first quoted when I asked Signature Mazda in Richmond. I had no problems with...
