200" SUV is just too big to stuff into many garages while still have walking space around it and be able to open the trunk! I happen to be able to fit a Pacifica rental in mine but man there was very little wiggle room left. I wouldn't want to live with one having to carefully place it into...
Maybe they know they dropped the bowling ball on this one by calling it a CX70 instead of a different CX90 trim.
They could probably save money by not having to crash test a CX90 trim vs certifying a new CX70?

Whelp. Total fail for my use. 200" long car is too long for my garage to be able to access the trunk and be able to walk around the car. The extra cargo space would not be a upsell vs optional 3rd row.
I would think towing capacity is mostly dependent on torque and brakes rather than HP.
A flat torque curve would benefit a lot more for towing than one that just peaks at 5.8k rpm.
CX5 Australia cargo space: 438L
CX60 Australia cargo space: 570L
CX5 US cargo space: 29.1cubic ft (about 820L!!!)
I don't know how you almost double the cargo space in the US for the same car but hey that means the CX60 is about 25% more cargo room than the cx-5
I think I would have been happy with the Volvo if it were not priced so high :\
the XC60 T8 I was looking at was nearly $76k AND the dealer wanted $5k market adj so I was like NAH. Even at MSRP it's about 20k MORE than the CX90 PHEV top trim. Hell it was just about as much for a X5 45e and...
I used to own a FD3S and my ideal dad car would be a RS4 or RS6 :D
For me a 3 row is not a must have. The wife, however, is adamant on PHEV premium so there are not many options out there. RX450h is a possibility when it comes out and maybe also the CX70 if it's smaller. 200" car is a tight...
For me we want a PHEV so Palisade is out (and their actual MPG is pretty bad given we drive mostly city compared to the CX90).
This leaves the Volvo, which is MSRP STARTS at $70k or so and only gets 19 miles of range in electric. To get into one with HUD they start at $79k so over $20k more...
Handling was good for the size of car. It honestly feels smaller than it it. Does not feel like it rolls much but it definitely is not as stiff feeling as the CX5. I would venture to say it's just about as stiff as my '13 RDX. Not a bad thing given that this is a BIG car.
Trans was seamless...
Got a call from the dealer that the CX90 just got into the lot in the morning.
I went in expecting to just look at it and the rep just said "you want to drive it?"
I'm like hell yeah!
Very quiet car. Ride is firm-ish. Softer than the '17 CX5 I have but not as soft as my '13 RDX.
Steering...
Thanks!
.100A installed and will do 367A next.
Any reputable online place that will sell the kit for reasonable price you recommend?
Local dealers are sticking to $199 msrp + tax.
I think blind spot and cross traffic are same. 3 fast beeps.
This was same cadence as the 3 beeps except it was continuous and non stop.
Never tried driving with tailgate up so don*t know if this is same thing.
