So you're saying the crank and cams are out of time? Well as stock, none of it is adjustable. You could add in adjustable cam gears/sprockets to correct the timing and adjust on the fly easier, or you could rip it apart and re-time it properly. As long as you know that the timing is the issue...

Great thread! My tank was leaking a few years ago and I at first tried a Junk replacement... no bueno So I ended up ordering a new one and installing that with a a new pump. More issues from the car being a flood car that the dealer that sold it to me, didn't know about, or didn't disclose.. 🤷‍♂️

Pulled the head yesterday. A while back dropped a valve when trying to do valve stem seals. Evidently the compressor blew the breaker and the cylinder pressure dropped. 😱 Oh well. All stem seals are replaced now and I'm eyeing VICS/VCTS delete before putting it back together. So many new parts...
