    new guy post + seatbelt question

    i would keep it all OEM for the rotor and cap. Plugs and wires i'd get NGK/OEM and nothing else. I know in my Honda, the seatbelts have a lifetime waranty on them, so if anything just go to the dealer or call them to see. Should be the same for Mazda.

    Trouble Starting in Cold Weather

    check that your wires are good by turning the car on and spraying water on them (with a windex bottle thing). If the idle changes, they're bad. What brand plugs did you buy? Check your rotor and dizzy cap for corosion and wear.

    Coolant Temperature

    I just got a 1991 DX, so its a SOHC. I am wondering where the temp needle should go to on the cluster...mine goes like 2/3 of the way up. Im guessing it is not normal, but im used to Hondas, so i dont know for sure. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks! spark notes-How high does ur temp needle go?

    JDM BP-ze

    Well if the TP is broken...how do your injectors know exactly when to shoot fuel? Get everything fixed first. I don't see why a JDM engine would need higher octane, unless it ran some crazy high air/fuel ratio

    HELP!!!! 1992 protege dx problems HELP!!!!

    well, im a big fan of Hondas myself. Anyways, i think you should have a look at your oxygen sensor, as if its shot, it may be sending the wrong info to ur ECU and it will not work right. If anything, try a friend's O2 sensor and see if that does it.
