There is a small group of 3 owners on the mazda3 forums that try to get together every now and then.

An AWD MS3 is interesting as a marketing/design exercise, but not practical.
It would be much cheaper to mod a WRX or MS6 the same or higher level of performance.
Not everyone wants the stiffest mount possible. Some folks, like me, just want enough upgrade to get rid of wheel hop and increase shifter feel. By your logic, the best mount for you would be solid metal.
