Got the letter, happy that I don't need to dump the car now :) Kudos to all the affected folks who actively helped this to happen.

    2019 CX-9 Oil Leak?

After looking at it during next oil change - it looks like oil pan leaking. No oil going up from the pan. Went to the dealer for fuel pump recall and they confirmed that. They ask $2k to reseal it, and it does not seem worth it. It does not get noticeably worse. Just the oil cover gets dirty...

    2019 CX-9 Oil Leak?

The bottom of my engine got dirty with something that looks like an oil leak. It was minor before but got worse after few oil changes. It drips onto engine cover a bit, but never makes it to the garage floor. On the photos there are couple of examples: 1. oil pan edges get dirty. 2. when...

    CX-70 debut information, pictures, discussion

Ha!, that is exactly what I wanted, but never even hoped for )) I never need those extra seats but smaller SUVs are usually too small. Very strange though, given Mazda have the CX-60.

    SkyActiv Oil Analysis Thread

For me it sounds like there was another reason that was hard to identify or simply a production defect. Any engine has 1000 mile break in interval and it was very common back in the day to change the factory oil early. It would be too bad of a design for a major manufacturer if an early oil...

    SkyActiv Oil Analysis Thread

Not many Toyotas are turbo. And those long OCIs is a new trend. I'm skeptical they will keep going X00k miles with those intervals.

    2016~2023 CX-9 Brake Life

My latest experience is that pads gets out silently on CX-9. No squeaking. Our friends' car got front/rear completely out unnoticed and had to replace rotors as well. Breaking performance was very bad until they fixed it. If non-technical person drives the car it could take some time to notice...

Re-sharing my experience from older thread with Rotella multi-vehicle. Still unbeatable for oil dilution.

    Poll 2.5T Coolant Leak/Engine Replacement

Can we really describe it as very small percentage by now? Any subjective ball-park? Earlier when I followed first reports it felt like quite common.
