    2010 Blue Touring

When I discussed with most dealers the 0.0 raised the price by $1000 so if you're actually only getting a $700 adjustment that winds up a pretty favorable deal. You might be able to negotiate it to $200 under invoice and then the rebate gets you back to $700 under.

California will collect the tax when you register.

The competitive incentive may have only been at the end of January, I don't know, it wasn't something I qualified for. I was told by one dealer that February's factory incentives remained the same, so since this was generally unadvertised it may still be there. The loyalty bonus is aside from...

    2010 Blue Touring

Are you going for black or sand interior? I suspect the black interior won't have many problems. You can always scotch guard it yourself.

    2010 Blue Touring

There are factory to dealer rebates/incentives on top of the holdback, they may be regional, but I believe in the northwest right now it's in the neighborhood of $2500+. Most of the dealers here that don't shoot for MSRP are advertising that they will take $1000 off their regular price or give...

    2010 Blue Touring

Blue is either one of the least popular colors or it experienced a huge run in popularity recently resulting it them being sold out. When we first started looking and decided on blue it seemed there were 3 on the lot, when it came time to buy I had to get one brought in out of state. I got my...

Factory BT mic with aftermarket stereo?

I'm looking at putting an aftermarket system into my new 2010 GT, the AVIC Z110BT is probably the frontrunner. I'm not even sure where the BT mic is in the factory setup but I'd prefer to use it if possible. Can the AVIC use the factory mic or does it have to use the one you get with the...

    Mazda5 Rent2buy Update

I was a road warrior for a few years and never really gave a second thought to things like shifting from reverse to drive and flooring it or drive to park while still rolling and all kinds of other random dumb stuff that you would do to save time when you're driving a car you'll never see again...

On the Fence: MZ5 or CX9???

Is that 16.5 with Auto? If you compare apples to apples I've found that the true price difference between a Sport with auto and popular equipment package and a base GT is about 3000. Would I have paid 6500 more for the GT, hell no. But 3000 seemed about right, I really did want Xenon...

Mazda5: Prices paid and related questions

Picked ours up on Friday. 2010 Stormy Blue Mica Grand Touring no options Had agreed on $21,250 for a cash sale but wound up doing $21,750 and the 0.0APR. However it appears I was also given the $500 cash back and had it applied to my down payment so bottom line was the same. $347 for title, reg...

On the Fence: MZ5 or CX9???

I was told that covered everything but title and registration (no tax here).

On the Fence: MZ5 or CX9???

Depending on if there are any other options installed you may be able to do a little better, but would also depend on regional competition. I haven't bought my 5 yet but am looking around $21.2 for a base GT. I didn't really care for how the DVD was configured in the one I looked at (bad...

Mazda5: Prices paid and related questions

I'm looking at 21,250 right now for a GT with no options. In OR with no tax its like another $350 to get out the door. Probably could have done a few hundred better over the weekend but couldn't find the color combo I wanted and I was a little sick of the act now or else routine. Good deal?

Mazda5: Prices paid and related questions

The Mrs. has ruled out a manual so that's no concern of mine. I have a purely for fun, completely impractical car that I'll be keeping anyways.

Mazda5: Prices paid and related questions

I spent the weekend trying to shave off $250-500 on a Sport w/auto and popular equipment package and 2 dealers mentioned incentives for current Honda, Nissan and Toyota owners, which did me no good. Could have been a regional only deal, but they said it only required registration in my name, no...
